What information from my Slack account is being used?
Memo can not read any of your team’s messages, with the following exceptions: messages that were explicitly tagged for Memo, direct messages sent from a user to Memo and teams that have explicitly opted-in to share their messages (default is opt-out).
Besides the messages you save and retrieve via @memo, Memo uses information about your team’s profile, your public channels and your team members' names and emails.
When you save a Slack file to Memo, we access that file’s metadata (title, thumbnail, preview when available) in order to display an useful “link card”. Memo cannot access the contents of private Google Docs files shared in Slack.
